Tracy Mann Andersen

Well after leaving Thoreau in the middle of our senior year, I ended up going to Fruita, Colorado. From there I attended Mesa State College I had planned on getting a chemistry/microbiology degree then from there transfer to Colorado State University and go on to vet school. Well that didn’t work out, yet I did transfer to Weber State University in Odgen, Utah. After attended school for only a few days, I ended up getting sick and getting surgery which caused me to dropping out that semester. During this time I started working at a call center and I meet my husband. I married Scotty Andersen, June 14, 2003 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Salt Lake City LDS Temple for time and all eternity. My husband and I lived in the Salt Lake area for a year. Then we both got jobs at Qwest Communications as a sales consultant. Only issue was it was in Idaho. My husband was originally from Idaho, to be exact Rigby. Rigby is right between Idaho Falls and Rexburg. It’s a farming community largely of potatoes. After living here a year we bought our 1st house. Shortly after buying our home my husband decided to join the Idaho Army National Guard. Right before he left to basic training, we found out I was pregnant with our first child. While my husband was gone I worked long hours and the time sure flew by especially since I was pregnant. A few months after Scotty returning from basic training our daughter Jennifer Eddythe Andersen was born in Idaho Falls, Id on Feb. 21, 2006. She was 9 lbs 2.5 oz and 21 inches long. About 5 months later I had my appendix out, and shortly after that I found out I was pregnant again. Then 9 months later our son Lloyd Alexander Andersen was born April 21, 2007 he was 7 lbs 10 oz and 20.5 inches. So my children are 14 months apart to the day. I love it soo much and they are so sweet to each other. Currently I am still working full time at Qwest, just hit my 5 year anniversary there. I am doing some continuing education classes for medical billing/coding. I am hoping to work from home soon to be around my kids more. My husband is active duty here in Idaho. He is currently a supply sergeant and helps run a local armory. In about 16 years he can retire with full benefits. We found out he will be deploying with the whole state next August 2010 and looks like it will be about a 15 month deployment.
